Ray Grahams Ltd selected Deep River IT to design, implement, and manage a complete IT and telecoms transformation. The goal was to modernise infrastructure, strengthen cyber security, and create a reliable, scalable platform to support ongoing business growth.
Deep River IT carried out a full assessment before designing a tailored managed network and infrastructure to meet the demands of a busy retail environment. This included the deployment of a secure, high-performance WiFi network across the site, ensuring reliable connectivity for staff, operations, and business systems. A 1000Mb full fibre internet connection was installed to provide fast, consistent access to cloud services and critical applications.
A cloud-hosted phone system was introduced to streamline communications, replacing legacy systems with a more flexible and scalable solution. This allows staff to manage calls efficiently across the business while supporting future expansion. Alongside this, Deep River IT deployed a new virtualised Windows server environment, supported by a managed UPS system to ensure resilience and continuity in the event of power disruption.
Cybersecurity was a central focus of the project. An enterprise-grade firewall from WatchGuard Technologies was installed, combined with managed antivirus and MDR (Managed Detection and Response) services to provide advanced threat protection. A comprehensive cybersecurity review was also conducted to identify risks and implement best practices across the organisation.
Cloud services were rolled out, including Microsoft Office 365 licenses to enhance productivity and collaboration. Secure cloud backup solutions were implemented to protect critical business data and ensure rapid recovery if needed. The IT systems were also integrated with the existing CCTV infrastructure, improving monitoring capabilities and overall site security.
Deep River IT continues to provide fully managed IT support and telecoms support, including proactive monitoring, maintenance, updates, and a responsive helpdesk. This ensures all systems remain secure, efficient, and aligned with the evolving needs of the business.
