Deep River IT partnered with The Maiden City Hotel to design, install, and support a fully integrated IT and telecoms environment for a new, modern hotel. The objective was to create a secure, high-performance infrastructure capable of supporting both operational efficiency and an exceptional guest experience from day one.
Working closely with the hotel’s management team, Deep River IT designed a bespoke Managed IT network and infrastructure tailored to the demands of a busy hospitality setting. This included the deployment of a secure, high-speed WiFi network throughout the property, complete with dedicated guest access to ensure seamless connectivity for visitors while keeping internal systems fully protected. A 1000Mb leased line was installed to guarantee fast, reliable internet performance across all areas of the hotel.
To support communication across departments, a fully hosted phone system was implemented, providing flexibility, scalability, and advanced call management features. In addition, new IT equipment was supplied and configured for staff, ensuring reliable performance and full integration with the wider network. An enterprise-grade firewall, combined with advanced antivirus protection, was deployed to safeguard the entire infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.
Cybersecurity was a central focus of the project. Deep River IT implemented a layered security approach, combining network protection, endpoint security, and proactive monitoring. Alongside this, cloud services including Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint were introduced to enable secure collaboration, document management, and remote working capabilities. Cloud backup solutions were also put in place to ensure business continuity and data protection at all times.
Beyond the initial design and installation, Deep River IT provides ongoing fully managed IT support and telecoms support. This includes continuous monitoring, maintenance, updates, and a responsive helpdesk, ensuring all systems operate smoothly and securely. The hotel benefits from a proactive support model that minimises downtime and keeps technology aligned with business needs.
